Timeline
Dex2.3 will be finalized no later than January 2010.
Dex3 coding will begin approx. February 2010.
Code Development
The code powering *Dex 3 (including the Melchior Format parser) will be stored on the wiki in a namespace called Engine. The code is visible to the public, but can only be edited by Sysops. Code will be directly loaded from this namespace to power *Dex 3.
The templates for *Dex 3 will also be stored in the Engine namespace.
Beta Testing
During Beta Testing, *Dex 3 will be available through special beta URLs (i.e. GlitchDex 3, AttackDex 3, etc). *Dex 2.3 will remain the "main" *Dex until *Dex 3 is ready to supercede it.
